These are the 200-series valves from Supertech. They are made of stainless steel but this valve is marketed as an "entry level" valve from Supertech. Its almost comparable to a stock replacement valve. It should not be treated as a high performance race valve in a high power engine. This would be a good option for someone rebuilding a head going on a bolt-on street engine.

Supertech valves are a good idea when you are building an engine. These valves have flat faces which would help slightly raise compression a little for all-motor applications, but can just as easily be used in forced induction applications as well. We have seen multiple racers cut corners by leaving their valvetrain stock, and go to the track after spending thousands of dollars building a race engine with new pistons, rods, bearings, head gasket, cams, etc, miss a shift, over rev, and drop a valve into their newly built engine ruining everything. Usually when a valve fails and falls into the engine, its catastrophic and nothing can be saved.
